Laser printing is available on a fee-for-print basis using the Uniprint system. A Uniprint print account is needed to use the following network printers:
All three printers are available from all CSSSI computers. If you would like to print from your own computer, see the ITS How-To Print from a Personal Computer page.
The ITS Print Account Management page allows you to add funds to your print account, review your transactions, and create a PrintID if you are a visitor.
PaperCut Users (includes FES, SOM and others)
Some of the Professional Schools have switched to a different print service called PaperCut. Since the CSSSI printers are Uniprint-based, users with PaperCut accounts will need to transfer funds to a Uniprint account. Yale's Printing and Publishing services provides a link that allows students to transfer funds from Uniprint to PaperCut or vice versa. There is no charge to transfer funds.
The funds transfer utility is at https://ris-systech2.its.yale.edu/ris/papercut/transfer.asp
There are several ways to scan at the CSSSI. All of our scanners have resolutions at or greater than 1200dpi.
Yale Photo and Design also provides scanning. For more information, go to
