DataRescueNHV - part two!

DataRescue New Haven
April 3, 2017

Help preserve federal government data! DataRescue New Haven @ Yale is an effort to identify, download, and preserve federal research data to ensure ongoing access by scholars, policymakers, journalists, and the public.

Building on the success of our March 4th event, we are hosting a secondhalf-day event on Saturday, April 8, 1-5 p.m. in the CSSSI computer classroom. Bring a laptop; we’ll bring snacks! We’ll also offer an optional DataRescue training session from 12 to 1 p.m.

For more information about the event and to register, visit http://researchdata.yale.edu/datarescuenhv. There are many ways to contribute to a DataRescue event–technical skills are not required! We’re looking for Internet searchers and social media mavens, as well as programmers, metadata specialists, and subject domain experts.

DataRescue New Haven @ Yale is sponsored by the Yale University Library, the Yale Law School’s Lilian Goldman Law Library, the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and the Yale Institution for Social & Policy Studies, with support from the Office of the Deputy Provost for Research.
